Pre-Assessment Know Yourself

In this first step, we guide students by following a methodical approach, where we initiate pre-assessment, by hosting one-on-one talks with the student and deeply understanding their expectations, preferences, beliefs, personality along with their academic background and career goals.

We also consult parents, to understand the child’s strengths and weaknesses from their viewpoint. We note their observations, suggestions, and any additional information that helps us to form a proper assessment. This step is Our 4-Step Career Guidance Program Step 1 – Pre-Assessment- Know yourself is absolutely essential for us as a counselor to bear a deeper understanding, and provide a clearer perception to aid a smoother and genuine experience.

Step 2 :
Motivators, Aptitude, and Interests - The Psychometric Tests

The next step is to conduct our comprehensive assessment techniques, that incorporate Psychometric tests. These tests help identify one’s personality, skills, and knowledge; assisting in gauging a student’s suitability by measuring certain traits.

The results quantitatively display students’ motivators, aptitude, and interests, which aid us in suggesting ideal career pathways.

Step 3 :
The Report Analysis

Post the tests are taken, we analyze the results and combine the information from the Step 1 assessment to generate a report, where we highlight the -

• “Career Motivators” – factors that encourage one to perform better at work. Some of these motivators can be leadership, stability, money, challenge, respect, etc.


• “Aptitude Parameters" - having a natural inclination towards learning something. Some of these parameters can be Verbal, Numerical, Spatial Aptitude<


• “Interest” – Activities that one enjoys. These can be working outdoors, art to communication to politics, and many more

Step 4 :
The Guidance- RoadMap

The Psychometric Tests analysis report along with our initial assessment sets the standpoint for drafting personalized career roadmaps for individual students.

The roadmaps suggest 3 career options and contains all the essential information about the field/domain, all of the possible and relevant careers, their prospects, their compatibility with the student, the educational degrees required for obtaining those jobs, and methods to seek further career progress. These comprehensive roadmaps are shared with parents and students during this stage.
